Tourist Destinations Around Ranca Upas

1. Danau Ranca Upas

This lake, which has a height of around 1,600 meters above sea level, is one of the famous tourist attractions in the Ciwidey area, Bandung. This lake is surrounded by beautiful pine forests.

Lake Ranca Upas still has clear water and fresh air. Around this lake, there are various kinds of tourist facilities, such as :camping grounds, restaurants, and plantations. FYI, Lake Ranca Upas is also known as a shooting location for Indonesian films and soap operas.

2. Perkebunan Teh Rancabali

Perkebunan Teh Rancabali is one of the largest tea plantations in Indonesia, located in the Ciwidey area, Bandung Regency, West Java. This plantation is famous for producing excellent quality tea, especially black tea and green tea.

Apart from providing quality tea, this plantation also offers a cool and beautiful natural atmosphere, as well as beautiful scenery. In addition to tea gardens, you can also go on a culinary tour at Pinisi Resto, which provides typical Indonesian menus.

3. Taman Kelinci Ciwidey

Located at Kp. Cibodas RT. 003/005 Ds, Alamendah, Kec. Rancabali, Bandung Regency, Taman Kelinci Ciwidey is suitable to visit with your family who want to experience the unique experience of interacting with cute and adorable rabbits.

This park allows you to interact directly with the rabbits by feeding them and taking photos with them. Apart from rabbits, there are also other animals, such as owls, horses and goats.

4. Kawah Putih

Apart from Ranca Upas Lake, a famous tourist attraction in the Ciwidey area is Kawah Putih. This tourist spot is a volcanic crater formed from the eruption of Mount Patuha. As the name suggests, the lake water in it is greenish white.

The color of the water comes from sulfur gas coming out of the bottom of the crater, creating a unique coloring effect. Apart from enjoying the beautiful views, visitors can also walk around the crater, lake and pine trees. When visiting Kawah Putih, don't forget to bring your best camera, okay?

5. Pemandian Air Panas Ciwalini Ciwidey

For those of you who want to enjoy the warmth of hot water and cool scenery, don't miss out on Ciwalini Ciwidey, which is located at the foot of Mount Patuha.

The hot water comes from natural springs, which contain minerals and are believed to have health benefits. Apart from hot springs, there are also facilities such as: flying foxes and ATVs.

6. Situ Patenggang

The last recommended tourist spot around Ranca Upas is Situ Patenggang. This lake, which is located in the Ciwidey tourist area, is famous for having beautiful natural panoramas with calm stretches of water, pine forests and green hills.

Situ Patenggang offers various natural tourism activities, such as fishing, cycling and walking to enjoy the view. Visitors can also take a boat to circle the lake or take photos by the lake with a beautiful natural background.
