08:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Bubur Ayam Mang Hj Oyo
Before embarking on your animal adventure, fuel up with a hearty bowl of Bubur Ayam Mang Hj Oyo, a legendary Sundanese chicken porridge that has been warming hearts and stomachs since 1976.
This porridge is a bit different from what you might be used to. The porridge is thick and hearty, and it’s packed with chicken shreds and chewy cakwe. Bubur Ayam Mang Hj Oyo is served without broth, but it’s still rich and flavorful. Don’t forget to add a topping of satay skin, intestines, or chicken liver for an extra treat.

Residents of Bandung often hold animal lover community events at Pet Park, and you’ll see a wide variety of animals there, from dogs and cats to snakes, iguanas, turtles, and even parrots.

The park has agility equipment and a jogging track under shady trees, making it a great place to let your pets stretch their legs and socialize. The park is open all day, but it’s busiest on weekends in the morning or evening.

03:30 PM – 05:00 PM: Rumah Guguk
Don’t go home just yet – make a stop by Rumah Guguk, which is truly a dog lover’s paradise! From the outside, Rumah Guguk may look like a regular pet shop. But inside, you’ll find a spacious play area for a variety of animals, not just dogs. There’s a large garden area that’s home to dogs, ducks, chickens, birds, goats, cats, rabbits, and even snakes!
Even so, indeed the real stars of the show are still the dozens of dogs from a variety of breeds, both large and small. You can play with German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Chihuahuas, Bulldogs, Herders, Rottweilers, Dalmatians, and Poodles. Don’t worry, they’re all friendly.
